Relationship Manager
Apricus Inc. is a young, fast-growing enterprise specializing in solar thermal solutions whose vision is to bring economic savings to its customers while promoting a beneficial environmental impact.
The solar thermal market is growing rapidly, and Apricus Inc. is looking for highly motivated individuals to be relationship managers in the USA to help grow and support the Apricus distribution network and promote the Apricus brand. We have doubled our sales every year for the past three years and look to triple sales in 2008.
Description
Relationship managers are different from sales managers. Sales managers focus on selling product and moving onto the next customer. Relationship managers focus on developing close relationships with our distribution partners to provide strong support with a personal touch.
Relationship managers will:
- Conduct market research
- Research potential distribution partners for Apricus and establish those that meet criteria.
- Help existing and new distribution partners analyze and develop their business models.
- Conduct onsite training with distribution partners and their dealers.
- Attend trade shows to promote and network on behalf of Apricus.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent. BSBA, MBA a plus, but not necessary. High school diplomas will be considered if relevant experience applies.
- Minimum 2 years marketing, business development, or sales experience. Entrepreneurial minds encouraged.
- Extroverted, strong communication skills.
- Good writer (must). Good with numbers (plus).
- Competent in Word processing/spreadsheet software (PC/MAC) and Internet.
- Willingness to travel often.
- Candidates must be good at multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and have lots of self-initiative.

Candidate must be responsible to manage his/her time wisely without having to be managed on a daily basis. The key is to develop the Apricus brand and distribution network in a professional yet personal manner.
Compensation
- Salary negotiable plus benefits.

- Fuel and cell phone allowance (you must have your own car).
- Business trip expenses covered (air tickets, rental car, hotel, food on the road, etc.)
- Individual health insurance policy.
Relationship managers will be based out of the Apricus USA office in Connecticut traveling about 1-2 weeks a month on average.
